Arddangosfa mynachlog Fawr exhibition
Our new exhibition is now open!
Our exhibition - "30 Objects of Mynachlog Fawr" includes a carefully selected collection of items found in the farmhouse and outbuildings to give visitors a insight into the lives of those who used to live here. From tools which show the hard manual work which happened on farm before electricity, to letters and documents which tell the story of family life, and even a few objects connected with superstition and the warding off of evil, there will be lots to explore!
Within our exhibition visitors can time travel using our virtual reconstruction of the site in 1238 and 1947 created by Virtual Histories. Meet the characters and explore the buildings through all four seasons, seeing how life was lived on the farm.
Also within our beautifully restored historic building will be sofas to sit and relax in front of the old fireplace, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and browse our selection of reference books, magazines and second hand books.
Great for all the family - our exhibition also includes a variety of activities for children of all ages.
